What kind of jobs are there for people who go to college for art?

I’m in my first year of high school and thinking about my future job. I had always thought that I would take four years of art and then go to college for art, but now I’m not so sure. I mean, I don’t want to be a starving artist or anything. People always told me to do what I love for a job, but I do like money, and I’m no Picasso. So what sorts of jobs are there for “art people”?

How do you make your art entry stand out from 1500 entries in a contest?

So I want to win this art contest. The rules are simple: “think of the most crazy-creative way to show your love using our logo”.

I’m great at traditional art, so that is not the problem.
I would do a graphic design piece but I’m not too terrific with photoshop. (I am bad at graphic designing)

How does one make a mind-blowing entry that takes away all the competition? Do you think graphic art and traditional art will be regarded equally?

I was kind of wondering what do you take to become an Art teacher. I love to do a lot of art stuff I have already takin some art classes in high school. I was just wondering how do you come an Art teacher. I know you have to go to some kind of college but what do art teachers take in college for that field?
