What is the salary of an art teacher in a community college or university in Texas?

What if I want to teach art only 3 or 4 hours a day in a community college or university, how much money will I make?
(and I DON’T want to teach elementary or high school kids)

I am an art major, what other subjects besides art could I possibly teach in CA?

I am currently in community college and planning to transfer to an university. I’d like to teach HS but I know that art teacher are not being hired very much right now. Are there other subjects I could teach with a degree in Studio Art?
Im intereseted in teaching in the LA area I know about teacher certification and CBEST. After becoming certified what other subjects would I be allowed to teach with a degree in studio art?

How do I become an art teacher after elementary teacher?

Hey. I’m in my last semester before I get an early childhood education degree (elementary school teacher), but people keep telling me I should be an art teacher. It’s true. I love art. Now what should I do? What degree do I need to become an art teacher in elementary school? An art education degree? Is that another four years!?! Can I get a Master’s degree in art education and teach art?

What is the employment situation for art teachers in ireland?

I am an art teacher from the US considering a move to Ireland. Are arts specialists common in public schools? I have a BFA in VA and a MAT in AE. I took my husband to DUblin and we noticed a lot of construction (his field) so our next question is how difficult would it be for me to find a job as an art teacher (Kindergarten-12th grade certified in the states)? We are open to all locations.

What should an art teacher know to set up a community display?

I am a teacher that is switching fields from general elementary to art. What is the typical process through out the year to prepare for community displays like youth art month? Are there any tricks that save you headaches right before a show?

What can I do with an Art Education degree?

I am graduating this Spring with an Art Education degree. We are planning to move to Calgary Alberta, but I am not sure if I can get a job as an Art Teacher there. I am unsure of the need for art teachers there. What other options, other than working in an Art Museum can I do with my degree there?
