I have to do a reproduction and write a paper about my selection on Impressionalism.
I chose Paris on a Rainy Day by Callebotte. I was wondering what the painting could mean and the significance of it. How could I interpret it?

What’s the difference between art in galleries and art you can purchase online?

I want to buy an Andy Warhol piece and when I look at art galleries online the prices are extremely expensive but when I look at different place online they don’t seem to be as expensive. What is the difference? Is it worth it to buy the more expensive piece?

How do I price art that someone wants me to create for their organization?

Word is going throughout the city that I live in about my paintings. I haven’t sold any yet, but they are now on display. A local organization wants me to create a peice of art that they can use for t-shirts for their ’cause’. If I do a painting and sell them the picture (digital) who owns the rights? And if I keep the original painting and the rights, then are they allowed to use the art for anything other than tee-shirts? Any suggestions?

What is the easiest form of art to start with for a beginner?

I think I’ve heard watercolors. I want to learn on my own. Do you recommend getting an art kit and learning on your own, without having to follow much written instruction? What would you suggest drawing or painting for a beginner? I want to do the best form of art for a beginner, so that it looks good, not like a little kid’s art work. Thx!

I really like the artwork within this album and I would like to possibly see where i can find pieces similar.
