Martial Arts

So I was wondering what a good martial art for self defense is for someone who is like 5′5″. Like is there a martial art that can teach me how to defend myself against someone who’s 6′8″ 300 pounds. I know if someone got a hold of me that’s that size they would break me in two.

I want to take a little bit of a bunch of different types of Martial arts and combine them into my own art. I would like to know what martial arts to use, and what from that art would be useful. Any thoughts helps, thanks!

My brother-in-law is looking for a job as a security guard and wants to learn a martial art to apply to his new job. Which would help him the most? I have heard Kenpo is great since it incorporates many styles.

I’m 6′3” with long arms and legs, agile, able to flip and kick high. I feel natural with kick boxing or mui tai but I have scoliosis so I want to limit the strain I put on my back. What martial art should I develop?

I am 15 years old and I live in a tough neighborood. My parents think that it would be a good thing for me to learn how to defend myself. What is the martial art that would be perfect for a slim 5′9″ girl? Are there other girls with martial arts training who could tell me?

I want to learn something that will teach me evasivness and blocking and…well i just want to be able to protect myself and end a fight without getting hurt. I need a martial art type that would be good to use in like a street fight, not just in a tournament or something.

I am thinking of doing a martial art, i want to know the most effective and lethal one to do that can be applied to actual fight situations and defeating multiple attackers. I have been looking over the internet and am thinking Muay Thai or Brazilian Jujitsu or a combination of both.

I want to learn a martial art for self defense and to improve my health, though there seems to be so many different styles that I don’t know where to start. Also, I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, so if anyone can recommend a training facility it would be much appreciated.
