Decorating & Remodeling

We are putting some art work into a trendy new shop and are looking for a way to make sure that it is secured to the walls so as not to be tampered with in any way.
Please advise .

I have a large open wall in my newly-renovated kitchen, and I want to put some type of art on it. Any suggestions to the type of art I should consider (oil, mixed media, photo) for this type of room?

I have a huge wall (cathedral ceilings) with a built in entertainment center which has shelving on both sides of a tv. Above our television we have a very large art niche – probably about 12 feet high by 6 feet wide. The previous owners had a custom tuscan mural painted in it but it is not our style so we are trying to come up with other ideas. The niche is framed by molding. Does anyone have any ideas of how to decorate this space or do you know of any websites w/ pictures or ideas? Thanks!

I live alone and have made the transition from college to adult life. The old wall posters don’t cut it any more…but most of the wall art out there is very feminine. Flowers, flowers and more flowers. Cutesy cottages by a pond. Butterflies and dragonflies. Any suggestions on wall art or other wall decor for a guy’s house?

I want black and white photos and wall art in my bedroom, but I’m not sure what kind of wall art. Like should i get a black and white picture of a flower, of nature, or just stick to art that is more abstract?

We have an open floor plan with floor to ceiling windows facing out to a deck. Hardwood floors. The space is broken only by a two sided fireplace. But between the two of us, we’ve accumulated quite a bit of art; oils, framed prints, photographic. I want to bring more of it into our main living space, but we have such limited wall space and it’s at the far reaches of the room. I’ve thought of easels or some sort of movable column. It’s all just in my imagination at the moment, so I’m not sure of practical applications. Any ideas? Thank you.

I really like the canvas custom framed art on Home Decorators’ website and want to order some pictures. Problem is I am hesitant to order expensive art online without seeing the actual product. Does anyone know where I can a store or distributor selling similar custom framed art in or near New York City? Also, I noticed that the custom framed art on Home Decorators’ website, Levitz’s website and others is exactly the same. Does anyone know who is the original manufacturer of the art? This would help me to find a retailer in NYC.
