What should I include in my art portfolio for graduate school?
I am applying to some grad programs (SAIC and OSU) for painting and drawing and they require 20 examples of artwork. I did my undergrad in Art Education so I did not have a show, but I completed a minor in Studio.
What do these kinds of programs look for in a students’ portfolio? What is most important? Is there anything I should avoid?
