How do I make a good-looking pixel art (or Photoshop) alphabet?
The final product will be a set of flash cards. I’d also like to use the same technique to make a set of playing cards. So you know what I’m going for–I’m not looking for just a black outline filled with a solid color. I want something that looks like a lot of talent went into it.
The tutorial could be specifically about lettering, or it could be about coloring simple shapes (since letters are shapes).
I prefer pixel art, but a Photoshop tutorial (hundreds of colors, layers, filters, and so on) would be fine if it looks good.

If nobody answers my question, I’m okay with that. What I don’t like is when people post imbecilic non-answers that serve only to lower my opinion of humanity.
Reading and thinking are important skills that you should exercise at all times!
