Why is art central to the development of civilization as oppose to peripheral?
I am currently learning about Mesopotamia right now in civs 12 and I came across this difficult question:
Why is art central to the development of civilization as oppose to peripheral?
I was thinking because art is a result of division of labour, and literature is also a part of art.
Anything else?
