How did you find your personal art style?
I don’t really have my own art style. When I see work done in a certain style I really like, I can replicate it. However I like and admire lots of different styles of art.
How can I stick to one style of working and make it my own so that its continuous throughout all of my work?

Don’t worry about having your own style, it will come with time if you just draw what you want to draw. If you force yourself to adopt a personal style, then it won’t be as genuine.

I know its a pain to find but its something you develop, but looking at different artists u take inspiration from the work they do & do it in ur own style [with ur own ideas rather than copying] It slowly comes through the more confident u get with this technique

The best answer that I can give is for you to draw a LOT. It’ll develop on its own through practice. And it’s perfectly acceptable to borrow elements of other artists’ styles and incorporate them into your own.

I started with geometry classes and architecture. Thus, I have problems with figures, but an easy time in a design or calculus class! The fixation on Platonic and later artistic thinking leaves me with an almost analytic/schematic style. I generally take a rough drawing and recreate it using a computer to render the figure so I can make animation or such. I have yet to try Shockwave, nor do I want to – slow/proprietary and I know enough to use real compilers.

The most important thing is to study your fundamentals. Your style will change and evolve as you find new things that inspire you, or fun ways to approach things. You probably have a style and don’t’ even realize it. Drawing more angular vs drawing more rounded, or thick outer lines, always coloring horizontally.
There are lots of little things that unify to make a style. You don’t need to force it, just enjoy your art and your style will reveal itself!.

My “art” is a mixture of different styles. It developed naturally, but with practice and you also have to be very open minded. Draw as many styles as you want and you will see how your true style will show. Give it time.
